CIRCLE OF TRUST – A TEACHING AID FOR PUTTING
circle_of_trust

The CIRCLE OF TRUST is a teaching aid designed to help students improve their putting skills. From the photograph, you see that the CIRCLE OF TRUST fits onto the face of the putter and the ball fits into the triangle.

The actual teaching routine is to have your student rhythmically move the putter-head back and forth three times, towards the target and on the fourth pass, release the putter-head to allow the ball to roll naturally toward the hole.

Students, therefore, have the opportunity to visualize the putter-head moving the ball toward the target. Furthermore, the CIRCLE OF TRUST encourages the student to take the putter-head back low and to stroke (not hit) the ball with a natural low finish – the ideal mechanics of any putting stroke.
